Use Your Donor Advised Fund
WHAT IS A DONOR ADVISED FUND?
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable investment account that allows donors to support charities they care about, while receiving tax benefits.
If you have a Donor Advised Fund, you can use this form to support HopeWell directly from your DAF, as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization participates.
HopeWell’s federal tax ID number is 04-2438910.
Donate Stocks & Securities
Donating appreciated stock or securities is a great way to boost HopeWell’s programs while creating benefits for you by:
✔ Providing a deduction for charitable contributions: Federal and state tax law permits taxpayers who itemize to deduct the current value of charitable contributions from their adjusted gross income. To qualify for such a deduction, the stock must have been held by the taxpayer for more than one year.
✔ Creating savings on capital gains taxes: Contributions of stock may have no tax liability on the difference between the cost of donated stock and its current, fair market value (FMV): i.e., there may not be tax on the capital gains.
For instructions on how to donate stocks and securities, please contact us.
Explore Planned Giving Options
You can make a lasting impact by incorporating HopeWell into your long-term philanthropic planning, such as:
Life insurance policies
Estate planning (wills or trusts)
Bank and investment accounts
Retirement plans and tax-free IRA distributions
Planned gifts can offer you potential advantages, such as tax benefits. To make a planned gift, contact your insurer or retirement plan administrator to obtain a “change of beneficiary” form. Your gift will provide support and optimism for the children, adults, and families we support for decades to come.

Purchase Needed Items Using Our Amazon Wishlist
Children and youth experiencing foster care often have few belongings to call their own. The adults with disabilities we support would also benefit from donations of new items.
We created an Amazon wishlist where you can purchase items and have them shipped directly to HopeWell.
Notes for Checkout:
- Please be sure to select HopeWell as the shipping address.
- Amazon does not share your information with us. We would love for you to let us know who is making the donation so we can properly thank you! You can do this by marking the item as a gift and including your name, email address, and/or mailing address on the optional gift note.
